Project Frying fat

This project is currently only active in the Netherlands.

 

Green Oil Recycling works together with students between the ages of 13 and 17 to create a collection point for frying oil in every neighborhood nationwide. We offer young students the opportunity to be sustained and also earn some nice pocket money. We pay the students for every liter of frying oil they collect and of course provide them with all the necessities such as a wheelie bin. In addition, we think it is important that the students know exactly what they are helping the environment. We provide the students with training and provide them with information about how they individually have a positive impact on the environment and sustainability in their environment.

 

Besides the fact that we are all doing very well together, we still want to do something extra for society. With each full bin, Project Frying Fat donates 10% of the amount to charity. Of course, this is not at the expenses of  student's salary, we add this amount on top of the price we pay for the full bin! The nice thing is that we give the student the opportunity to choose the charity themselves.
