Sustainability

Because first-generation biodiesel is produced on the basis of rapeseed, among other things, which makes agricultural land more scarce for food production, Europe encourages second-generation biodiesel. This diesel is made from residual flows of vegetable and animal oils & fats and therefore does not compete with the food industry.

 

To prevent raw materials from ending up in the biofuel that have not been produced in a sustainable way and / or materials that are produced as food or animal feed are used, Green Oil Recycling BV acts in accordance with the guidelines of the European Renewable Energy Directive (RED) and we are ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) certified.

 

In addition, we are always looking to keep our carbon footprint as small as possible and we continuously implement improvements in the field of environmental friendliness and sustainability within our organization.
